Use the Review Payroll Items Screen

Use the Review Payroll Items screen to review payroll for up to 15 restaurants at the same time.

Payroll Tab

The Payroll tab displays scheduled shifts that LiveIQ has matched to time clock data without detecting any errors in the data.

  • Auto-approved payroll items are time clocks that match the schedule and meet all preset payroll rules.

  • Items that require manual approval match the schedule but do not meet all preset payroll rules. You need to indicate how LiveIQ should process them.

  • Time clocks with no schedule are time clocks that do not match any schedule and require further action from you.

You must take action on every item that has a Status of Action Required before LiveIQ can process the payroll.

In addition, if an entry in the Status column is underlined, that means that you must resolve the corresponding issue before you can process payroll. If you try to finalize payroll without resolving all outstanding items, LiveIQ displays a message that indicates how many items are left to resolve.

Warnings Tab

The Warnings tab displays scheduled shifts that have not been successfully matched to time clock data and TBD payroll items. The entries on this tab do not prevent LiveIQ from processing the payroll, but may indicate a problem that you should address.

Errors Tab

The Errors tab displays issues with the data or missing settings that you must resolve before LiveIQ can process the payroll. An example of this would be an employee not having a pay rate defined on the Pay Rates screen in their employee details record; without this, LiveIQ Labor cannot calculate how much the employee should be paid.
