Create a New Schedule – Part 2

  1. Add the employees that you want to assign.

    You can add employees and TBDs to the schedule even if you do not assign them shifts. LiveIQ keeps the employees and TBDs on the schedule so you can add their shifts at a later time.

  2. Set up any new Quick Shifts needed for the schedule.

    For more information, see Create Quick Shifts.

  3. Assign shifts to the employees for each day of the week.

  4. To copy all the shifts for an entire day to another day, click Copy Day that appears next to the date for the day you want to copy, select the appropriate days, and click Done.

  5. Click Save.

    If the schedule includes shifts for employees who are not allocated to the restaurant, a window opens to notify you. You can enter the appropriate clerk IDs and start dates and then click Save to remove the warning.
