Employee-Level Dashboard

The Employee-Level dashboard helps you examine your business down to the employee level by providing a four-week view of employee performance in key areas of business. It looks at every restaurant employee’s performance so you can analyze the data to manage your restaurants’ performance more effectively.

The key metrics focus on productivity during each employee’s shift, including total hours worked, units sold, cash cards sold, number of rings, suspicious rings, factor, and total sales for a four-week period. The Employee-Level dashboard pinpoints the employees who are doing a good job upselling by reporting drinks, miscellaneous items, and add-on transactions rung up by each employee; it provides information that highlights which employees are outperforming or underperforming.

  • Sales Per Unit — Shows sales per unit rung up, the factor for the sandwiches rung, the value of extras (drinks, cookies, bacon, etc.) sold per sandwich rung, and the total you received per sandwich rung.

  • Suspect Ring % — Shows how often employees process “suspect” transactions (for example, item corrections, no-sales, price overrides). You can research individual transactions in the Sales Drilldown screen. Use the green and red shaded areas and numbers to help you monitor suspicious activity or underperformance by employees using the register. Click the figure for a user to see a list of all transactions containing item corrections, price overrides, etc.

HQ currently sets the indicator thresholds, although you will be able to set thresholds for these values in the future.

  • Cash Card Sales/Ring — Shows the value of cash cards sold per employee ring and shows you which employees are most effective in selling them and which need more coaching.

  • Factor — Shows which employees work during higher productivity periods and what the restaurant factor is during the hours they worked.
