Configure the Equipment

  1. Go to liveiq.subway.com.

  2. Enter your user name and password and log in.

  3. From the LiveIQ toolbar, click Surveillance.

  4. From the Surveillance menu, click Setup.

  5. On the Surveillance Setup screen, select the restaurant you want to set up.

  6. On the Surveillance Setup screen, configure the settings for the surveillance provider.

    Depending on the DVR Type and System Vendor that you select, LiveIQ can populate known settings for the device. For example, if you select either DTT or PXTech for the vendor, LiveIQ populates the port settings automatically.

    If your vendor is not in the list, select Other.

  7. Enter the connection details.

    If you do not have this information, contact your surveillance system provider to get it.

    If you enter a URL, make sure that it does not contain http and other protocols or port information.

  8. Enter contact and support information.

    Use this area to record any information that would be useful in the future.

    DO NOT store passwords here!

  9. If the communication ports are blank, enter the appropriate settings.

    If you selected a known vendor, leave the settings as they are.

  10. Enter the settings used for remote access.

    If you do not have this information, contact your surveillance system provider to get it.

  11. Click Save.

  12. From the Surveillance menu, click View.

  13. If this is the first time you are accessing your surveillance system from your PC, you may be prompted to install a codec:

    • Click the Play button to install the codec.

    • If a notification bar appears below the address bar asking if you want to run an Active X Control, click the notification to proceed with the download.

    When the installation is complete, the Access Surveillance screen displays four viewing windows.
